Learning by Doing, Selling by Knowing
Thirteen children ran a business at Anand Jatra — AGVS’s biennial festival of 300+ visitors. Their products: laddus, chutneys, pickles, candles, and Chyawanprash — all made by them. The first batches of laddus didn’t work. Proportions were off. They figured out why, adjusted, and got it right. At AGVS, that moment of figuring out why — that’s the education. Several products sold out on Day 1. That night, without being asked, they made another batch. The stock was gone, the festival had another day, and they knew what to do.

Daily Contest with Laziness
Saksham is in Class 7. He describes his mornings like a competition.
“Sometimes laziness wins, sometimes I win. We both fight every morning with all our might. I want laziness to lose — and laziness wants the same from me.” To keep score, he built a habit tracker, on his own.
Most adults struggle to name what gets in the way of their own growth. Saksham not only named it — he made it a fair fight, and built a system to track who’s winning. That’s self-awareness. That’s AGVS.
