In Their Own Words

From educators to well-wishers, this is what people carry with them after spending time at AGVS — in their own words.

SIDDHESH LOKARE

One of the best schooling ecosystems I have seen. They are not just building the future but are rebuilding what they did not even break. Kids are self-aware, capable, proficient & extremely adept with communication, entrepreneurship and digitization. I have learnt & unlearnt so much as a social worker.

Very inspiring experience! VIKALPA needs to be replicated. Bharat needs a 100,000 Abhyudaya Schools. How can we have at least a hundred within six months? If there is any way I can assist, I will.

The passion that the faculties display while talking about the school & its various initiatives show their commitment & pride towards the students & their overall development. The students seem to have a sense of belonging towards the school. After interacting with the students, it could be observed that the students have developed a broader vision & they displayed more maturity compared to other students of their age. Also, the students consciously try to observe & learn educational concepts through sports or agricultural activities, etc. which has actually helped them to grasp the concepts well rather than just the theory. Overall, the students seem to have developed a lot of other life skills like communication skills, time management, cooking, public speaking, etc which has lead to their all round development & has made them very confident and self-aware. Thank you for the experience.

We had a wonderful experience at AGVS. The efforts taken to create such a unique atmosphere of learning is worth appreciation. The students are inquisitive and ready to learn. This type of institute is the need of the day. The interactive session with the students was excellent. We shared our experiences and learning with them. At the same time, the students helped us to realize life lessons. This shows that AGVS is taking right directions to shape the minds of these students. The natural environment provided by AGVS for the students is helping in their overall development. This has definitely helped the students in understanding life in a better way. I wish AGVS grows and shines more in the coming days.

Abhyudaya Global Village School is based on Indian traditions & values. I am very happy to see all the facilities in the school. The school under the leadership of Mr. Sachin & Mrs. Bhagyashree a really made a difference in lives of village children. In real sense multidisciplinary holistic education is being conducted. I am sure this school is a real bridge to close the gap between Bharat Vs. India. I wish a grand success of the school and surely move to the next orbit as a Role Model school in India.

We were really impressed with the work being done at Abhyudaya Global Village School by Mr. Gandhi and family. I understand the vision behind the school and the using the multiple intelligence concepts being practised to develop the learners’ wholesome development all round. I could connect it to Auroville in Pondicherry and wish Bhagyashree, Sachin and team all the very best. Congratulations and God bless your enterprise.

Our visit to the Abhyudaya Global Village School has been a great learning experience. We got to learn so many things like selflessness, collaboration, cooperation, etc. Abhyudaya gives paramount importance to children and their holistic learning and can even bend the rules for the wellbeing of the students. Abhyudaya has incorporated innovative and creative teaching mechanisms, contrary to the conventional mode of teaching, to harness the wellbeing of students through varied exposures. The most beautiful part of the organisation is that the teachers do not take their role as a job but as a responsibility to ensure learning both for children and for themselves. Overall it was an unforgettable experience which we will cherish forever.

Visiting AGVS gives us the philosophies and the whole/complete purpose of the initiative. It was wonderful to see the kids, the facility, and how the vision of an agri-based future is being created. You have and are facing many challenges every day in making this a reality, and we wish and pray that they ease over time. Really loved how you have empowered everyone to bring their ideas and thoughts to the front. This is the right approach, and as you think of the scaling aspects of the school and self-sustenance, the same approach is probably the right one. Time will tell. We would love to participate in any brainstorming sessions, to aid with ideas. The kids are brilliant and confident in their own learning process. One area where it would be an extremely important skill would be to provide tools/learning aids to improve interactive communication — have a conversation meaningfully with new people/strangers. Something to think about further! Maybe some really confident kids can help teach others! Best wishes!
